DiaMonTech meets German Vice Chancellor and Federal Minister for Economic Affairs and Climate Action
NEW YORK, 13th of March 2024
Our CEO Thorsten Lubinski met Dr. Robert Habeck, German Vice Chancellor and Federal Minister for Economic Affairs and Climate Action. They had an open dialogue about the struggles that startups face in in their daily business and how German (deep tech) companies can make an impact on the world-wide stage.
During a speed-dating event with German start-ups in New York, it became evident how positively the market entry into the U.S. is perceived. Many of the participating start-ups reported that they received valuable support through the mentoring program. Particularly noteworthy was the realization that financing opportunities in the U.S. are often seen as easier to obtain.
The German Accelerator program allows start-ups to benefit from the experiences of their predecessors, exchange ideas, and tap into a strong network. New York, especially in the finance, advertising, and media industries, provides fertile ground for the growth of New Economy companies.
